SEO

1. HOW DO I GET MY WEBSITE ONTO THE TOP OF GOOGLE SEARCH RESULTS?

Your website’s ranking in Google depends on a number of factors, like the amount of visitors to your site, your SEO titles, the descriptions of your images etc. Once you get those things in order, it will start reflecting positively on Google Search. It’s not instantaneous though.

2. DO YOU OFFER SEO SERVICES?

We offer basic SEO services, which means we can install an SEO plugin on your website. This should be efficient enough to improve your ranking in Google Search organically.

If you need more advanced SEO and a plugin is not enough for your specific requirements, we can introduce you to the right people that can help you with a more detailed SEO and ORM (online reputation management) marketing plan.

Domain names and hosting

1. CAN YOU HELP ME REGISTER A SUITABLE URL?

We refer all domain name registrations to Domains Online.

2. DO YOU OFFER WEB HOSTING SERVICES?

Yes, we do offer hosting services, with competitive prices. Please contact us if you are interested in our hosting packages.

Development

1. WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WEB DESIGN AND WEB DEVELOPMENT?

Web design is the styling of your site and the placement of the content on it, and is usually presented as a flat image. Web development is the front-end and back-end building (coding) of the approved design and ensures the required functionality.

2. HOW DO YOU BUILD WEBSITES?

We do WordPress websites, working with CSS/CSS3, HTML/HTML5, PHP and jQuery to get to the desired end-product.

3. WHAT IS WORDPRESS?

WordPress is the easiest and most versatile blogging and website CMS (content management system). You can create, manage and edit your own content, without any hassles.

WordPress started out as a blogging platform but, today, it’s grown into something a lot larger. Because of its versatility and ability to be customised, you can turn your WordPress template into pretty much anything you want. Whether you need a more intricate website or a blog, WordPress is most likely the best choice of CMS.

4. WHAT IS RESPONSIVE DEVELOPMENT?

It means that your website will “respond” to different screen sizes and will thus work on mobile devices and tablets. It also means we won’t have to charge you for developing a separate website for each device.

Cost

1. WHAT WILL MY NEW WEBSITE COST?

This varies from project to project. For a quote, simply contact us and tell us about your project.

Please note that we always require 50% of the total cost upfront, to pay for our time. The remaining 50% is due on project completion.

2. HOW MANY CHANGES CAN I MAKE TO MY SITE DESIGN WITHOUT INCURRING ANY ADDITIONAL COST?

After receiving a first draft of the design, all site functionalities need to be confirmed. We then compile the final website. A set of 10 changes can be applied (you can make this set of changes at no extra charge). Please note that additions (extra pages and functionality outside of original scope) are not considered changes and will be charged accordingly.

3. I NEED A QUOTE. WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?

The more information we have, the more efficiently we can quote. Try to answer the following questions:

  • How many pages do you want and what will they be called?
  • Do you want forms and, if so, how many?
  • Are you using your own designs? If yes, we need to see them.
  • Do you have all the images and content ready for your pages? If not, we can help you with that too.

4. HOW WOULD YOU HANDLE THE UPDATING AND MAINTENANCE OF MY NEW WEBSITE?

We usually upload the following for you so you can see how it’s done:

  • The first three blog posts
  • A few images into your gallery, so you can see how it’s done
  • Three products (if your website is an e-commerce site)

After that, you’ll be able to update and maintain your own website. If you are not familiar with WordPress, we give you detailed instructions.

5. I’VE ALREADY GOT A WEBSITE, BUT IT NEEDS TO BE UPDATED. CAN YOU CUSTOMISE AN EXISTING SITE?
